The Barn Cafe - Denville: Cozy Café with Quality Coffee, Fresh Pastries & Friendly Service

Quality coffee, relaxing atmosphere, and great service. The cold brew was bold, and the latte had great flavor. The blueberry muffin was very fresh, and they had plenty of pastries to choose from. Plenty of seating inside and few spots in front located right in downtown Denville.

Great spot! I ordered the spicy chicken salad sandwich and it was generous and delicious! Fair prices and staff was warm and friendly. My only feedback is the vibe, could be a little cozier and "barn like" for dine in. But it's clean and spacious. The old pics of Denville on the wall add allot of charm. I wish them well, I will be back!

Amazing service, Yelena made me a dirty chai latte with oat milk and I have been forever changed. Never again will I experience such a masterfully crafted beverage, until the next time I come back. Which will be very soon :)

All you can ever want in a small town café with big town feel, experience and quality. Go for their dirty chai and stay for their grilled cheese and tomato soup. Best I’ve ever had! Cozy and warm, excellent service plus vegan and gluten free options.

Came here with my gf because she saw it just opened. Let me start off by saying it did not disappoint!!! It was super cute seating and spacious. A bit warm but comfortable. The staff was SUPER SUPER nice. The food was great as well. I got a chicken and ham and cheese empeñada. They were both delicious. They had a thicker crust which I’m not too crazy about. The chicken had a great taste of peppers, chicken and a light sauce which had a kick but not too hot. The ham and cheese was good too. It had flavor and tasted exactly as a normal ham and cheese would taste like. The chip brand was super light and crunchy. I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup with bacon and it was sooo goood! The portion of soup was a lot! The tomato soup kinda tasted like Panera breads which was delicious! The grilled cheese was crunchy, buttery and cheesy. It was a wonderful mix! My friend got a burger and didn’t realize it didn’t come with bacon. I think the owner came out and he was super friendly and nice he said don’t worry I’ll get you some bacon. A few minutes later he came out with a WHOLE NEW burger which had avocado smash and the bacon. She then was able to combine her original burger with the added stuff to make basically BECA sandwich minus the egg and croissant. The prices are so reasonable too! I loved the service was quick and clean. Not crowded. They also had some things in the fridge as well as scones and muffins! I loved the little book nook seat but watch your head sitting down! The chairs were a bit low. All in all would 100% go back again.

Wow the quality here is the best. I don’t even drink coffee because it normally messes up my stomach. But feeling great after my specialty drink. Thank you.

Biscuits and gravy in NJ!!! That alone is worth a visit. Not sure where else u can find this on a menu outside the southern us. They have good lattes. Prices are pretty typical for the area; about a dollar or so less than u would spend at Starbucks. And u are supporting local business. I visited with a friend and we really liked the atmosphere: bright, clean, spacious. Area by the window has a mini library which gives cozy coffee shop. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I ordered a savory bacon, cheese and chive biscuit along with my latte. It was delicious and has me even more pumped to get their biscuits and sausage gravy.

Had the chaggagino (very excited they have mushroom coffee here) and cheddar cheese & chive biscuit. Delicious coffee and the biscuit had a little spicy kick to it which was perfect! My friend had the berry smoothie and iced chai. She said they both were very good! It was well priced and service was kind and welcoming!
